Job Description: Field Service Technician & Technical support dealer network
Position Title: Field service technician
Department: After Sales & Product Support
Purpose of the Role
The Field Service Technician is responsible for performing repairs, commissioning, training, and technical troubleshooting on equipment and machinery, both at dealer and customer sites. This role contributes to maximizing equipment reliability, dealer-customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Field Service & Tech support Activities
- Installation commission (CWR), and test new equipment at dealer location or on site at customer location
- Guide and train the dealer for new models at dealer location
- Setup mobile crushing and screening machines in the most efficient setup in terms of performance and production capacity
- Support and help to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, electronical, hydraulic issues. This support is provided either remotely or on site.
- Carry out complex repairs and troubleshooting on dealer rental fleets and customer Equipment.
- Provide technical support and guidance to dealers regarding operation and regular maintenance.
- Work intensely with Keestrack Factories tech support to formulate the correct answers required for the dealers
- Follow up daily and weekly on open technical issues
- Complete service reports accurately and in a timely manner to ensure correct reporting to dealers and Keestrack Offices.
- Download software for upgrade of machines programs and functionalities
- Identify potential technical improvement opportunities and advise Keestrack and dealers accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures while working on-site
PDI and QC Activities
- Prepare and inspect new machines on stock of Keestrack US, prior for delivery.
- Perform PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection).
- Conduct quality inspections and functional tests, reporting back to Keestrack
- Maintain safety standards and ensure proper use of tooling.
Administrative Duties
- Complete work orders, service reports, and maintenance records.
- Record labor hours and parts used.
- Report recurring technical issues and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Service Coordinators, Parts Department, and Technical Support teams from the central office in Texas and from HQ and factories based in Europe
- Maintain accurate documentation of all service interventions.
- Maintain in real time overview of travel expenses and accommodation following company policy
- Create and maintain machine technical history files
Travel requirements.
- Extensive travel within North America will be required
- Occasional travel outside US for Technical trainings in Factories across Europe
Qualifications requirements
Education
- Technical degree or diploma in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Service Technician, Maintenance Technician, or Field Service Engineer is preferred.
- Experience with in general industrial equipment, construction machinery, agricultural equipment, material handling equipment, or similar machinery is considered an advantage.
- Experience within crushing & screening, mobile or fixed plant is a major key point.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronical systems, including reading of high-tech electrical drawings.
- Understanding process and logic systems
- Download software and setup parameters.
- Basic knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and administrative tasks.

Reporting Line
The Field Service Technician reports directly to the Service Manager of Keestrack USA, incorporate within the global and international team of Keestrack group
